Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Exceed 6,000

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has confirmed 216 new cases of Coronavirus infections in the country, bringing the total to 6,175.

According to the figures announced by the centre on Monday night, Lagos the epicentre of the disease recorded 74 cases.

The figures also showed that nine deaths and 50 recoveries were recorded between Sunday night and Monday night.

The new infections were recorded across 14 states and Abuja.

216 new cases of #COVID19;
74-Lagos , 33-Katsina, 19-Oyo, 17-Kano, 13-Edo, 10-Zamfara, 8-Ogun, 8-Gombe, 8-Borno, 7-Bauchi , 7-Kwara, 4-FCT, 3-Kaduna, 3-Enugu and 2-Rivers.

Deaths: 191.”
