Anamba State Governor, Willie Obiano, reacted to xenophobic attack in South Africa, urging Nigerians living in other parts of the world to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.
Obiano who spoke while receiving a delegation of the Association of Anambra people in South Africa at the Governor’s Lodge, Awka, on Tuesday.
While condemning the spate of xenophobic attacks in South Africa, the governor said Nigerians in other countries should be of good conduct always.
He stressed the need to avoid cultism, robbery, drug trafficking among other social vices that could expose them to danger and the wrath of their host countries.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mr. Onyekachukwu Onyeka, said the delegation was in the state to partner with the government on ways of enlightening those travelling to South Africa to always be of good behavior.
