President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, hosted the South West caucus of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to a dinner at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The dinner is seen as an apparent move to reconcile the different groups that may have been offended over the conduct of the APC primary for the Ekiti State governorship election.
The dinner which started at about 8.30 had in attendance, the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Chairman of APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, and former Governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni.
Also present were the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State and Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State.
Also present were some legislators, ministers and others from the South West zone.
