While Nigerians of different religions are still praying fervently for President Muhammadu Buhari to recover from ill-health, his supporters in Benue have painted major streets of the state capital Makurdi, with his 2019 presidential posters.
The posters which were seen pasted on gate and perimeter fence of the Federal Medical Centre, situated along Ali Akilu road as well as in other areas of Makurdi metropolis, had the logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with writing that read, “Nigerians resolve Buhari 2019, after healing come greatness, just believe.”
There has been growing concern over President Buhari’s health. Since he returned from a 49-days medical leave in London, Buhari has sparingly appeared at public functions.
Buhari’s absence at recent Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings, last Friday Juma’at prayer at the Presidential Villa and failure to attend his adopted son’s weeding on Saturday April 29, in Kaduna, have all heightened speculations that all may not be well with the president.
