The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday reported 201 more cases of COVID-19 across the country, thus raising the total number of infections to 73,374.
It also indicated via its update that 224 persons were discharged after being certified free of the virus on the same day, bringing the number of discharged persons across the country to 66,314.
The agency added that 123 of those discharged were community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

The disease control body announced that the new infections were reported from 11 states and that Kaduna had the highest number of new infections.
Details of the new infections are as follows: Kaduna (74), Lagos (53), Katsina (40), Rivers (11), Plateau (9), Kwara (6), Bauchi (2), Ogun(2), Taraba (2), Edo (1), and Sokoto (1).
No death was recorded on the day in review.
