Nigerian music veteran, Dayo Kujore, has died at the age of 63 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja, Lagos.
The ‘Juju’ music legend was said to have passed on Monday, January 10, 2022, from a brief illness.
His death was confirmed by his daughter, Ayinke Kujore.

The music legend started his music career by playing the guitar at 10 and went on to release albums like Elevation, Wisdom, Joy, Easy Life, and the popular Soko Xtra.
He became prominent for creating Soko music, a new tune from the Juju genre.
He was born on April 4, 1958, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
