Nine of the members of the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, charged for the alleged murder of chairman of Apapa local government area of the party, Adeniyi Aborisade, have been discharged.
They were discharged on Friday by an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court headed by Mr. Alex Komolafe.
One of those arrested, Kehinde Fasasi, 61, was however not let off the hook.
Those discharged by the court are Rotimi Kujore, 44; Fatai Adele, 62; Ismaila Abiola, 50; Amos Fawole, 65; Victoria Falowo, 42 and Mukaila Odukoya, 54.
Others are Isaac Oropo, 55; Muhammed Babangida, 37; and Ugochukwu Nwoke, 50.

The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the PDP, Moshood Salvador, was discharged earlier as it was said that there was no case against him.
In his verdict, the chief magistrate said based on the advice of the Directorate of Public Prosecution, the persons discharged were exonerated.
He ordered that they be released from Ikoyi prison.
Fasasi who was not discharged, was however granted bail in the sum of N400,000.
Aborishade was allegedly shot during a fight between the loyalists of Salvador and Kehinde Fasasi during a meeting.
