The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted moderate dust over Central States of the country on Monday with likelihood of partly cloudy condition over Ilorin in the morning.
The agency, in its Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Sunday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 25 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
It predicted that Southern cities would experience partly cloudy morning with day and night temperatures in the range of 34 degrees Celsius to 37 degrees Celsius and19 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius.
NiMet also predicted chances of isolated showers and thunderstorms over Lagos, Abeokuta, Ibadan, Akure, Benin, Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and Yenagoa in the afternoon and evening.

According to it, Northern states will experience moderate dust throughout the period with partly cloudy morning over area.
It added that day and night temperatures in the area would be in the range of 29 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Moderate dust haze conditions are expected to continue to prevail over the northern and central states.
“Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over the Southern region with chances of localised showers/thunderstorms over some inland and coastal cities in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
