Other alternative routes included Yaba Crossing and Jibowu.

The closure had been slated at this time, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of work on the rail tracks, while the government advised road users to comply with the Traffic diversions to minimise inconveniences in movements.

“Lagos State Government is hereby appealing to residents of the State, especially motorists that ply these corridors to bear the pains, as the project is aimed at achieving a seamless multi modal transport system that will meet the transportation needs of the larger populace,” the statement stressed.
