The Governor of Kwara State, Abudulfatah Ahmed, has purchased the nomination form for Kwara South Senatorial District on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
This was made known on his twitter handle.
He said he took the step in response to the call by the people of the state.
He said the call followed the appreciation of the effect of good governance enjoyed by the people under his watch.
The tweet reads: “In response to calls by my people and in keeping with my strong desire to upscale the excellent work we have done in all three zones of the state, through effective, purposeful representation, I have picked up the PDP nomination form for Kwara South Senatorial District.
