The newly elected leaders of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) made up of Chief Peter Ameh and eight other officials have been sworn in.
They were issued certificates of return by the returning officer and chairman of the electoral committee, Mr. Tanko Yunusa.
The swearing in which held on Monday at the INEC Electoral Institute in Abuja had in attendance over 68 chairmen of political parties and other key stakeholders in the Nigerian electoral process including INEC observers.

The IPAC officials who were elected on September 5, 2018 took turn to take their Oath of Office amidst cheers and celebration from supporters and chieftains of different political parties.
The officers are Chief Peter Ameh, Chairman; Geff Ojinika, Deputy Chairman; Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, Publicity Secretary; Dakpokpo Georgina, National Secretary; Eunice Atuejide, Deputy National Secretary; Okey chikwendu, National Treasurer; Rev. Olusegun Peters, National Financial Secretary; Hamisu Santuraki, National Organising Secretary and Kenneth Udeze, Legal Adviser.
Speaking at the occasion, Ameh promised to carry everybody along, fight the menace of vote buying and pursue the signing of the electoral act amendment bill into law to ensure credible, free and fair elections come 2019 and beyond.
