The Managing Editor, The Next Edition online Newspaper, Ibanga Isine, will be speaking to young African graphic designers under the auspices of Graphic Designers Africa on Tuesday, June 8. 2021
Graphic Designers Africa is an open membership group created for every youth who desires to add to their knowledge of graphic design and generate income from digital skills.
A statement from GDA’s Administrator, Pakis Briggs, indicated that Mr. Isine will be speaking to about 55,000 recognizing their efforts and encouraging them to improve on their talents for better income generation.
The statement read in part, “The rising sun has beamed its energies on the Black Pixels of Graphic Designers Africa (GDA) as our activities are grabbing the attention of great media personalities such as the multiple award-winning journalist and Managing Editor, Next Edition Newspaper – Ibanga Isine.

“Mr Isine will appear on our maiden edition of #FacebookLiveWithPakis right here on GDA, this Tuesday 8th June 2021 at 10am and he will be addressing our 55,000-member community and recognizing the efforts of active members.
“As part of the practical development process, our members are encouraged to showcase their works via posts in order to get comments, likes and objective criticism. This is essential for learning and growth.
“We have also developed a calendar of routine activities to keep our community lively and attractive, such as #ReplicateThisDesign (Mon. & Wed.), #FacebookLiveWithPakis (Tues.), #Top10GDAContributors (Thurs.), #MeetAndShowUs (Fri.) and of course the #GDACompetition (Bi monthly).”
They expressed hope that the platform would be a safe place for youth all over Africa that have amazing digital talents, to develop themselves and shine forth.
They, therefore, encouraged all members to invite their friends and colleagues who are interested to come and benefit from the programme.
