Wizkid is on an international wavy level at the moment.
The Nigerian pop star Aka Star Boy, has been honoured in Minnesota, United States.

The Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton has marked out a special day to honour Wizkid and his contribution to music.

The Governor has declared October 6 as WIZKID DAY.
This is a huge feat for the 28-year-old superstar as the only other artist that has been so honoured in Minnesota is Beyoncé.

The honour follows his massive achievements in music and as a culture influencer.

Some of his feats include:
-Selling out at the 02 Arena in London
-The Billboard number one hit ‘One Dance’ with Drake.
-Walking the runway with Dolce and Gabbana
-Winning international awards and becoming the first African artist to sell out at the Skyway Theatre Minneapolis.

The official proclamation was made bearing the seal of the US state of Minnesota and signed by the Governor.
