Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River has announced a N100,000 reward for anyone who volunteered information that could lead to the recovery of property looted during the #EndSARS protests at the weekend.
Hoodlums, masquerading as #EndSARS protesters had gone on a looting spree on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24.
Special Adviser to Ayade on Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita, disclosed the reward money in a statement issued in Calabar on Monday.
He said whistle blowers should call 08034500531 to give such information.
The Next Edition reports that hoodlums, had hijacked the #EndSARS protests, looting the state government’s warehouse in Calabar on Friday and on Saturday, attacked private residences.

Among individuals whose personal residences were looted and vandalised were Sen. Gershom Bassey, who represents Cross River South in the Senate and former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba.
At Ndoma-Egba’s residence, the hoodlums set vehicles on fire.
