New Emir for the Rano, Kabir Muhammad Inuwa

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano has appointed a new Emir for the Rano Emirate Council.

He is Kabir Muhammad Inuwa.
Inuwa replaces the late Emir, Tafida Abubakar Ila, who passed away on Saturday in Kano at the age of 74.

The appointment of the new emir was announced on Tuesday evening by the state government via Twitter.

Inuwa until his latest appointment was the District Head of Kibiya in Kano State.

The Rano Emirate Council is one of the four new emirates created by the Gov. Ganduje on May 9, 2019.
