A new board of FBN Insurance Brokers, a subsidiary of FBN Holdings has been reconstituted with Mrs Folake Ani-Mumuney appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

Folake Ani-Mumuney who takes over from Mrs Adenrele Kehinde, the former Chairperson served as Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications and General Manager at First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

The announcement by FBN Holdings was contained in a recent notification to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), shareholders and the general public.

Folake Ani-Mumuneywho is currently President of Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), once served as Chief Marketing and Communication officer at Dangote Industries Limited.

A seasoned marketer and communicator, she was responsible for Brands Policies and communications at British Airways PLC, across the Europe & Africa region made up of 59 countries covering many regions during her time with British Airways, where she managed portfolios as Business Analyst, Strategy & Business Planning Manager, New Business Development Manager and Head Marketing & Communications Manager Africa.

She holds several Management certificates and belongs to many professional bodies and acquired degrees in Philosophy and Law and a Diploma in Business Computing Systems Analysis and Design.

Also appointed into the new reconstituted Board as non-executive directors are Seye Kosoko and Seyi Oyefeso.

Their appointments, which the company said is in line with Rule 17.5 and 17.6 of Part 2 (Issuer’s Rules of the NSE’s Rule Book(2015), is subject to the approval of the National Insurance Commission, NAICOM.

FBN Insurance Limited, which commenced operation in September 2010, is a Limited Liability Company with a license to transact life insurance businesses in Nigeria.

The Company is jointly owned by FBN Holdings with 65% share holding and the Sanlam Group, a South African financial institution that has 35% stake.
