Tee Mac denies death rumour

Tee Mac

Foremost flutist and former PMAN President Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli (MFR) has denied news making the rounds that he died in a car accident in Benin City, Edo state, with a female friend who was in the same car with him.

The report which appeared on an online news portal claimed that the female friend who accompanied Tee Mac caused the accident at a popular street in Benin when she struggled the car steering with the father of three over unknown issues.

But the flutist who has a career spanning over 40 years debunked the reports today when he took to his Facebook page saying he is hale and hearty while denying the report saying nothing of such happened.

“I am okay and alive. I received since last night countless phone calls from the press and my business partners all over the world because of a blogger putting a story out that I died in a car accident in Benin.

“Because of the many calls still coming in I have to go to the internet to state that the story is wrong. Thank you for your love and concern but I shall live another 30 years by the grace of God,” he posted on Facebook.

The multi-talented maestro flutist who has cross-cultural Itsekiri and Swiss roots was elected PMAN President in 2007.
