Nigerian artiste and self-acclaimed African giant, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has condemned the killing of unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate Tuesday night.
Burna Boy who took to his Twitter handle to condemn the attacks also called on international community to sanction the Nigerian government over the killings of unarmed protesters.
He said in his tweets: “These are the most serious times of our Lives. And Some people want to play games with me. May GOD help me and you to not lose focus.
Speaking about the invasion of the Lekki toll gate by security operatives, he said “They removed the cctv cameras, turned off the lights and they are killing people and taking their bodies. The whole Government should step down!! I’m in so much pain.”
The singer who is currently in London also disclosed that he was working towards ensuring that all Nigerian officials are sanctioned.

He was also concerned about the whereabouts of DJ Switch who was instrumental to the live streaming of the shootings.
Continuing Burna Boy said, “Tinubu. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu did this.
“Implement sanctions against the Nigerian Government and officials – Petitions! We Need 100k signatures from UK Citizens for this to be tabled by parliament. Please Help us make our Killers pay.
“May the heavens open and celebrate all Martyrs and Fallen Heroes who Died today and all who have died for this Movement from the beginning. You are our Heroes and we will not let your death be in vain.
“I am in London and I’m doing my best to make sure sanctions are imposed against Nigerian Government Officials. I need all citizens of all European countries, America, Asia EVERYWHERE to please Do the Same. THEY MUST ALL PAY!!.”
