The Department of State Services (DSS) now has a new Public Relations Officer.

He is Mr. P.N. Afunanya and replaces Mr. Tony Opuiyo.

Afunnaya had his B.A. in English in 1997 from Abia State University.

His Masters, also in English, was from the University of Uyo.

He later obtained another Masters in Peace and Strategic Studies (2011) at the University of Ilorin.

Afunnaya is currently running his PhD programme in Security and Strategic Studies at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
