How we destroyed Boko Haram vehicle workshop - NAF

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has destroyed a vehicle workshop of the terrorists group, Boko Haram.

The workshop which is located in the general area of Sambisa Forest is said to be a new one.

This was made known in a statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, AVM Olatokunbo Adesanya, in Abuja on Wednesday.

Adesanya said the attack was carried out following the discovery of insurgents’ vehicles parked in the area.

He said:  “Consequently, a NAF RPA was detailed to conduct armed reconnaissance in search of insurgents’ vehicles and terrorists around the location, which was apparently being used as a vehicle workshop.

“The RPA discovered that the insurgents’ motorcycles and vehicles, including their Commander’s vehicle were parked in the targeted area,” he said.

He said it was further noticed that some of the terrorists were seen moving around in the targeted area.

According to him, an air strike was launched by NAF RPA, killing the insurgents and destroying their vehicles.

He said none of the insurgents in the area of target appeared to survive the onslaught.
