The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 212 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing the total infections to 61,194.
The health agency made the disclosure on its official twitter handle late on Friday.
The new cases were reported from seven states and Abuaja in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the NCDC disclosed that 110 COVID-19 patients were discharged across the country on the day in review bringing the total number of recovered persons to 52,304.

The agency also reported three new COVID-19 related deaths with the total number of fatalities rising to 1,119.
The details of the new infections are as follows: Lagos-85; Oyo-72; FCT-21; Ogun-11; Plateau-11; Katsina-6; Kaduna-5 and Osun-1.
