The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it confirmed 97 fresh Coronavirus cases and three deaths arising from the disease on Sunday, Sept. 20.

The health agency stated this in a post on its website.

It said: “On the 20th of September 2020, 97 new confirmed cases and 3 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

“Till date, 57,242 cases have been confirmed, 48,569 cases have been discharged and 1,098 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”

Of the 97 new cases reported from 11 states and the Federal Capital territory, Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with 46, with Kwara following with 12, and Rivers 11.

Others are – Adamawa (4), Niger (4), Ogun (4), Osun (4), Ekiti (3), Imo (3), Kaduna (3), Plateau (2), FCT (1)
