The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday confirmed 313 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 7, 839.
The new infections were recorded across 16 states and Abuja.
Lagos, the epicentre of the disease had the highest number of infections, accounting for 148 out of the 313.
According to the NCDC data, five deaths and 89 recoveries were recorded on Sunday.

The data posted on the centre’s verified Twitter handle read:
