The Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) has decried the `very low’ compliance to COVID-19 safety protocols in Anambra since the second wave of the pandemic started.
The Chairman of its Anambra chapter, Mr. Vincent Ezekwueme, made the observation when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Friday.

Ezekwueme said that there had been “very low’’ compliance in terms of wearing of face masks and limiting numbers of people at social gatherings.

“Ignorance is the greatest impediment towards the stoppage of COVID-19.

“Conceited efforts should be made towards aggressive enlightenment of residents on the horrendous pandemic and the need to prevent its escalation,’’ Ezekwueme added. (NAN
