Chairman of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, Justice Mohammed Garba, has dismissed claims by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar that INEC had transmitted results of the Feb. 23 Presidential election electronically.
In the lead judgement on PDP and Atiku’s petition challenging President Muhammadu Buhari‘s electoral victory, he said INEC’S manual did not make provisions for such.
He also held that the witnesses called by the petitioners in support of their claims where not qualified to make the pronouncements they made and such, their claims held no weight.
Justice Garba therefore dismissed the claim.
