A popular market on Lagos Island, Balogun Market, has been reportedly gutted by fire.
The Next Edition gathered that the fire affected a plaza in the market where Ladies’ shoes are sold, destroying properties worth millions of naira in the process.
According to reports, firefighters from two divisions of Lagos Fire Service had been deployed to the scene to put out the fire.
There have been many fire incidents in the market, with goods worth billions of naira lost in the process.
