The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the governorship and state house of assembly polls in the state on Saturday.
Recall that there had been shootings at Khana Local Government Area in Rivers State earlier as SARS operatives clashed with some people who were protesting the invasion of the collation unit in the area and alleged prevention of accredited agents from accessing the centre.
According to reports, Security operatives were acting under the directives of the Commander of the State Anti-robbery Squad (SARS), Mr. Akin Fakorede.
