The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has restored Zamfara All Progressives Congress, APC, on the list of the political parties participating in the 2019 general elections.
The commission on Friday said it will comply with the Appeal Court Order nullifying initial orders of two High Courts.
It also said it will restore APC to the ballot in the National Assembly, Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
Recall that the Appellate Court on Thursday overturned the judgement of a lower court which barred the APC in Zamfara from fielding candidates in the general election.
The Appeal Court held that the lower court lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the matter. It also held that the suit had been filed out of time.
