The Police in Benue State has confirmed the kidnap of the Chairman and Chief Executive of Tito Yoghurt Company, Mr. Isaac Akinkunmi in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

The Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, DSP Catherine Anene made the confirmation through a telephone message to journalists.

Her message read, “The kidnap of Mr. Isaac Akinkunmi is confirmed and investigation is still in progress.”

Chief Akinkunmi runs a poular eatery; Titogate, and owns Tito Yoghurt Company in Makurdi, located at 1A Kashim Ibrahim Road, in Makurdi.

Details of where and when he was kidnapped was still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
