BREAKING: Buhari signs 2018 budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the N9.1 trillion 2018 budget.

The president signed the budget on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It would be recalled that the budget was sent to the National Assembly by the president on November 7, 2017, for approval.

However, due to the refusal of some government agencies to submit the details of the budget on time, the approval by the National Assembly was delayed.

Eventually, the budget was passed by the National Assembly on May 16 and forwarded to the president after a week.
