Breaking: APC National Working Committee declares Lagos guber primary ‘illegal'

The National Working Committee (NWC), of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has dissociated itself from the purported gubernatorial primary held in Lagos on Tuesday, describing it as ‘illegal.’

Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, Clement Ebiri, who made this known said all the materials meant for the election were still in their custody, hence the election could not have held.

He also disclosed that the committee had gotten the list of the party agents of one of the aspirants in the race a few hours ago while the election had already held.

He therefore said a fresh time and date for the election will be announced later.’
