The Department of State Services (DSS) has advised members of the public to refrain from any dealings with a dismissed staff of the Service, Barry Donald, who is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities and allegedly using the Service’s name to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

In a disclaimer shared on its official X handle, the DSS advised the public to refrain from any dealings with Donald, who is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities.

The agency urged anyone with requests, enquiries, or complaints to contact them directly on 09088373515 or via email: [email protected].

The disclaimer read: “The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby alerts members of the public of the activities of one Barry Donald, a dismissed staff. He is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities, including using the name of the Service to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.”

DSS, however, advised the public to be cautious and verify any information or requests purportedly from the service before taking any action.

“This warning serves as a reminder to be vigilant and cautious when dealing with individuals or organizations claiming to represent government agencies or other reputable entities,” the Service further said.
