The Nigerian Army has arrested two suspected militiamen said to be unleashing terror in Katsina-Ala and environment in Benue State.
The arrests, according to the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, were carried out on Tuesday following a tip off.

The arrests, he said, led to the recovery of a locally made gun, one pistol and several rounds of ammunition.
He added that investigation revealed that the suspects belonged to a group led by one Gana who is said to be at large.
While stating that efforts were on to arrest some of the members of the gang on the run, he called on members of the public to help security agencies with useful information towards ensuring a safe environment.
