The Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed Friday for ruling on the bail application filed by Senator Ali Ndume.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator representing Borno South, has been detained in prison since Monday for failing to produce Abdulrasheed Maina for whom he stood surety

Maina is believed to have jumped bail.
Justice Okon Abang remanded Ndume in prison until he produced Maina or paid the sum of N500m bail bond to the Federation Account.
Ndume, through his lawyer, Marcel Oru, on Tuesday filed an appeal against the remand order at the Court of Appeal, along with an application for bail.
Justice Okon Abang adjourned for ruling after Ndume’s lawyer, Oru, argued the bail application, which was opposed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s lawyer, Mohammed Abubakar.
