Goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette in both half of the game saw Arsenal moved up to third place in the Premier League table after beating Newcastle United 2-0.

Ramsey, captain for the night in the absence of Laurent Koscielny, had an effort disallowed in the 13th minute but had cause to celebrate on the half-hour after sweeping the ball home at the end of a flowing move.
