The Nigerian Army has announced the arrest of five robbery suspects at Felele area along Lokoja – Okene Highway.
The announcement was made by Army Spokesman, Brig.-Gen Texas Chukwu, in a statement he issued.
The suspects, he said were wearing military camouflage and robbing innocent commuters when they were caught.
He identified three of them as Saviour Denis, 39 years; Isaac Donald, 35 years and Joseph Isah, 35 years.
According to him, one of them identified as Atsen was killed in the exchange of fire that ensued.

Chukwu revealed that two female accomplices – Janet Isah and Oyinoye Ochefije – were also arrested.
Items recovered from them, he said, included one AK 47 rifle, one AK 47 rifle magazine loaded with 28 rounds of ammunition and four pairs of military camouflage uniform.
The soldiers also recovered one pair of Nigeria Police pullover, three pairs of berets, one pair of black boot, two machetes, one Plier, 22 handsets and N16, 980.
