According to him, Edo is for governor Obaseki because “God has already made him a winner and he is a winner; we the Hausa people have no choice but to vote for him massively.

“We AREWA people are strongly for governor Obaseki and his Deputy, Mr. Philip Shaibu, who we adopted as our brother.

“Shaibu has given employment to many sons and daughters of Hausa, he does not discriminate. While he was in Edo House of Assembly and House of Representatives, he employed Muslims that are Hausa.

“The governor has done well, his administration is a good one to everyone in the state. He accommodated us and made us what we are.

“All the Northerners are very okay and satisfied with his time as governor.

“We are full residents of this place, we married here and we all have voter cards.

Earlier, the Chairman of Edo PDP campaign Council, Mr. Dan Orbirh, commended the governor for spreading infrastructural development across the state.

“Look at how the governor has remodelled the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, he upgraded it to international standard and he also built a mini stadium in Western Boys Grammar school, the venue of this campaign ground,” he said.
