Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, on his appointment as Chief of Staff (CoS).

They said his emergence would inspire and challenge appointees of government to greater performance in line with global best practices, during the last lap of the present administration.

Speaking on behalf of the APC governors, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), and governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, said the insight, experience, and vast knowledge of Gambari was a welcome boost to the Next Level agenda of the administration.

In a congratulatory message to the former UN Permanent Representative, the governors pledged to work with him and the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to improve the lot of Nigerians.
