Governor Udom Emmanuel has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle and the creation of a new ministry – Ministry of Labour, Productivity and Manpower Planning.
Already, a commissioner has been appointed for it.
He is Sir Ibanga Ime Akpabio.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Ekerete Udoh, Professor Victor Daniel Inoka has been sworn in as the Commissioner for Education.

He took over from Pastor Paul Alexander Udofia.
All other Commissioners and Special Advisers retained their previous posts.
Until his appointment, Sir Ibanga Akpabio was the deputy state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, while Professor Inoka was a lecturer in the University of Port Harcourt.
