Acid bath victim, Chizoba Francess Obanye says God has been faithful to her 14 years after the incident.
Obanye who completed her National Youth service programme in October, took to her Instagram page to revisit story of the pains 17th of November 2004 brought to her.
According to her, she suffered rejections, had challenges and questions from her peers, but still, the journey has definitely not been an amazing one for her, she said.
Obanye further appreciated her family and KBK online foundation who sponsored her surgery.

She wrote:
“Exactly Today, 17 Nov 2004, my life changed, I became a victim of acid bath at the age nine (9yrs) it was just 3 days to my birthday and Today marks it the fourteenth year (14th) it happened. 17 Nov gave me a lot of pains, challenges, questions and rejections from my peers. I would say it was never easy. The road and the going was so tough but I overcame.. So I’m using this opportunity to say a very big thank you to God for his grace upon my life, secondly I want to thank my mum for making me strong and tough, Then to my dad, siblings and my friends ryt from when it happened to today, My Appreciation again goes to Kbk Online foundation for their support (sponsor surgery) Thanks to you all.
