Pa Lamidi Adams, father of the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, is dead.

Pa Adams died on Saturday in Lagos at 80.

According to a statement by the family, Pa Lamidi Adams in his early age ran a private transport business.

He used to be the head of the transport unit of Desmony Nigeria Limited, an Italian company, before he started his personal transport business.

He is survived by Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland and many children.
