The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole has commended the judgement of the Appeal Court, ordering stay of execution of a Federal High Court judgement barring APC from fielding candidates in the general elections the State.
Cole, on his Twitter handle TonyeCole1, shared a photo of himself with a quote from the bible tweeting, “I thank God almighty for his faithfulness. I sincerely appreciate the Court of Appeal for their credible judgement, I am grateful to APC for their steadfastness and I thank the people of Rivers state for their unwavering belief.”

An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt presided over by Mohammed Mustapha stated that all parties affected by Justice Omotosho’s judgement have appealed it; therefore, it will be unjust not to grant the application to stay execution of the ruling.
