Former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, has announced his presidential ambition.

He is to run on the platform of the Labour Party.

Mimiko declared his ambition at the national secretariat of the Labour Party under the leadership of Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam on Thursday in Abuja.

The former governor who expressed dismay over the state of insecurity in the country, particularly in some North Central states, said what the country needed at present was good leadership.

Declared Mimiko:  “I have found it compelling to declare my intention to run for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
