Nigeria, on Tuesday recorded 113 new COVID-19 cases, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The cases reported from 11 states and Abuja, brought the total number of infections in Nigeria to 62,224.

The number of fatalities also rose to 1,135 with three deaths recorded in the last 24hours.
Furthermore, the NCDC disclosed that a total of 354 cases were discharged on the day in review, adding, “Our discharges today include 165 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines.”
The details of the 113 new cases are: Lagos (51), FCT (15), Plateau (11), Kaduna (8), Oyo (8), Rivers (8), Ogun (4), Edo (2), Imo (2), Kwara (2), Delta (1) and Kano (1).
